I came across this great video that explains how to use effect sends in Cubase.
I have only used direct effect inserts per channel and I wanted to learn how to use effect sends and why I should use them - this video really helped me understand it so I though I would post it here.
Groups work similar and are good for controlling multiple tracks. I will be using groups for my guitar tracks when I use double or triple tracking with guitars - with a group I don't have to go in and adjust each volume slider for every guitar track, I can get a good mix and then control the overall volume with a group.
