sending back to mixer

i use a behringer 1604A into my audigy card, and then use acid 3 and sound forge 5.

is there any way that I can mix using the behringer AFTER recording to sound forge? to do pans and fading in and stuff, or is the mixer only for before it goes into the computer?

That depends on how many outputs your sound card has.
Two outputs=only two tracks to pan around. Not much fun.
Eight or more analog outputs=either eight individual tracks to mix & pan or treat them as four stereo sub groups.
