is it better to send reverb to an aux bus or put the reverb directly on the track or it doesnt make a difference? (e.g. Puting reverb or delay directly on the vocal track or setting up an aux running reverb or delay ad then sending the vocals through the aux bus) thanks

Generally I route reverbs through an aux buss. However, there are certain instances where the reverb has a more appealing effect and seems a little more dimensional when it is inserted directly on a channel.

Usually on buses, both for effeciancy and for making things sound like they were played in the same room. But sometimes for some things, like a lead vocal track, I'll insert a verb (or a noun if it calls for it). :)
