I've recorded two acoustic guitar tracks in Cubase SX and would like to try different compressor settings with my TL Audio compressor while monitoring the overall mix in real-time in Cubase SX using only SPDIF. Is this even possible?

The compressors are obviously outboard gear

Sure it is. Just send them a signal from the soundcard and bring it back in on some inputs. Record those inputs to new tracks.
