FMR Audio RNC
Our studio has 14 racked RNC's. Since we bought them, we've added 4 RNLA's and two PBC-6B compressors - and we're running out of rack space. I'm selling four of the RNC's for $135 each, including free U.S. shipping. 4 available. ALL SOLD

Behringer Autocom
This is the original Autocom, not the one made in China. We have 3 of them, and we're keeping 2 of them. It's a warm compressor that's similar to the dbx stuff. $65 with free shipping. 1 available.

Behringer Virtualizer Pro Digital Effects Processor
It's an OK multi-effects unit, but we just don't use it that much. $75 with free shipping. 1 available.

dbx 1531 Graphic Equalizer
This is a very cool piece of gear. We have 3 of them, and we're keeping 2 of them. It's a 15 band 1/2 octave stereo graphic eq that can be switched to be a mono 31 band 1/3 octave eq. It's great for tuning snare drums and anywhere you need precise frequency shaping. $100 with free shipping. 1 available.

N.E.I. 4 Band Parametric Equalizer
Another very cool, older piece of gear. I have really mixed feelings about letting this one go. It goes from 16 Hz all the way to 24 KHz, so you can do nice "air band" lift or really dig out the deep bass. (If nobody wants it, it won't bother me at all.) $100 with free shipping. 1 available.

Digidesign 442 4-Channel Audio Interface
This is a 4 channel audio interface for older Protools systems. I inherited this from somebody and never used it. It has 8 XLR's (4 in, 4 out, all with front panel trim pots), XLR AES/EBU in/out, RCA SPDIF in/out, and a BNC Slave Clock BNC in/out., and a multi-pin "Audio Card" slot for some older version of Protools. $35 with free shipping. 1 available.

and finally,

Roland SRV-2000 Digital Effects Processor
This is a really nice multi-effects unit, with a terrible, non-user friendly display. great sounding unit, but damn unfriendly. We gonna keep 2 of these, and it's pretty useful, but 2 should be enough for us. $100 with free shipping. 1 available.

I can post pictures if you really need to see them. Oh, and I'll guarantee all of these things to work great, or your money back.

Great PM me your paypal account name and other info then I'll take care of it pronto.

And the Roland ....Is that good for live sound on the fly delay set up or, is it just to hard to get to it quickly?

Thanks again

My Paypal account is "hargerst@airmail.net".

I think the Roland SRV remembers the last settings, so it would be good for live stuff. If you make friends with it, I think you can make changes quickly, but I never got use to it. My son Alex loves it. We're still keeping two of them here.

I'll think about the Roland then.

I'll PM my mailing address to you.

Harvey, the autocom.....is that a one channel unit and is the model number 1200?

I know this isn't exactly the place to ask this, but

what is an 'air band' lift?

Sorry if this is OT, but since he advertised this as being what it's useful for, I decided to give it a shot.

I believe it was first used by N.T.I. to describe their very high frequency boost control on their eq. A lot of mastering guys use the "air" control to add a gentle boost up at the very highest frequencies to add what they describe as "air" to the mix - it makes the mix sound more "open" and "airy". Some things can benefit from using that feature, others can't. But it's a nice control to have available.

Helpful as always. Thanks, Harvey. Thanks kind of what I supected it meant, but I'd never heard the term before.

Man, I wish I had the cash, I'd take both of those eq's. :(

And out of curiosity Harvey with that many RNCs and lord knows what other rack mount gear that you have, Are your patch bays balanced or not? for I was wondering how you got around the unbalanced out of the RNCs?
They do work TRS or TS but the owner of the business who makes them says that they should be TS out.

Studio A uses balanced patch bays; Studio B does not.

Most equipment (that has balanced ins & outs) actually unbalance the signal once it gets into the unit. It processes the signal then re-balances the output. Personally, I prefer keeping things unbalanced most of the time. For short runs, unbalanced works just fine.
