Selecting time to play problem

Hello, up until like 3 days ago i could just click any part of a song and it would play from where i clicked. Now where ever i click it starts from the beginning of the song which gets really annoying when recorded. Please help?
 
Why don't you cut the mp3 before pasting it in the layer so you can allow it to play at the time stamp where you want it to start...
 
You didn't say which version you're using, but this should be the same for CEP2.1 through AA1.5

1) right click on the play button without the circle around it, the default selection should be "play from cursor to end of view"

2) right click on the play button with the circle around it, the default selection should be "play from cursor to end of file"
