Hi and thanks for taking a look,
I was in need of assistance in connecting the following devices:
1) One active subwoofer with just an rca mono jack (has a built in crossfader switch)
2) Two Active monitor/speakers Yamaha MSP5s
3) Synth keyboard (or any Stereo device)
Basically I'd like a device (preferably a DIY device) that can take the inputs from my Synth and feed both input channels to the active subwoofer and to the Left and Right monitors/speakers. I think I don't need any amping of signals as the sub and monitors are powered. I'd just combining the L/R to the mono so that if a low signal from either L or R is generated, it registers on the sub.
What device would accomplish this? Ultimately I would like to embed a PCB board into the subwoofer chase that feeds the L/R to the sub and slap some 1/4" mono jacks for input (from the synth) and output (for the monitors) and be done with it. Didn’t want to add another wall wart to the mix. PCB creation and soldering is fine with me.
Thanks,
Moe
