What's up guys. My name's Bryce and I'm recording a funk album in my basement. I had just been mixing to a point that sounded good on my speakers here, but I discovered that depending on what I listen to the songs out of it can greatly change the experience. I thought I'd offer up some tracks and see if anyone had any advice.
The song I'm working on right now is called Honey. It's a psychedelic soul song in the style of Sly Stone. Instrumentally its pretty simple until about 3.5 minutes in, when I start layering on a bunch of other stuff. In that last chorus there are four guitars, so that's when I'm most concerned about getting a good mix. Btw, the vocal track - as I'm sure you can tell by the improvisational gibberish - is incomplete and will be replaced. Also the piano track will be replaced with a real piano at some point.
If someone wants to recommend a better audio host let me know.

If you wanna check out any of my other stuff - especially that untitled song - on the myspace and hit me with some pointers feel free.
