Hi,
I am in an electronic band that has three singers. In the past we have used a kaoss pad to a mixer or gone in through a firebox to MAC so each mic could use the effects that we used for creating a particular sound on our album.
However, we're at a point we're we can't use this set up in live situations because it renders the sound person helpless and if we encounter feedback we're screwed. Also, if we use something like the kaoss pad, we are all stuck with the same efx.
I am looking for an inexpensive efx box for each of us - my thought is that we'd each want our own box w/ presets, so we can have individual efx AND each mic can each go directly into the board so the sound guy has control over the overall volumes.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a few individual efx boxes we should check out with a decent range of pre-programmed or modifiable efx?
