In my PC I have a SB Live Value sound card. It has an SPDIF digital out jack. Having never seen the male jack I can only assume it looks sililar to the stereo mini plugs that lie in a row next to it.
On my Tascam I have Digital Coaxial I/O's which they say in the manual are SPDIF format.
Obviously you may already know my next question, how in the hell does one get from the out of the soundcard to the in of the Tascam?????????
If there is such a (cable?) no one is this music/computer cowtown seems to know anything about it. I have emailed both Tascam and Creative (ha ha) and have gotten no replies.
Can someone either cable me up or send me somewhere I can get one?
I have other digital I/O's on the Tascam..they are.. An AES/EBU XLR type connector...and also Optical I/O's in SPDIF format.
My current soundcard is ready to be replaced can you recomend anything better in $200 or less catagory?
Any help will gain you a big gold star next to your name...
