I just wanna get some brand names thrown at me to help me shop around.....i'm looking for an effects processor to replace a nanoverb, which was good enough for my purposes, but quite noisy (this is for a small project studio, by the way). I'm looking to spend a bit more money as well...a few hundred bucks would do it. Any ideas?

thanks

Save up more and get a Kurzweil Rumour. The converters are very nice and it has great plates and delays as well as some totally bizarre stuff in it. $500

I too am in a similar situation (I've got a Roland Dep5) and I narrowed it down to the Rumour or the Voiceworks by TC Helicon. Although it is more money I'm leaning more toward the Voiceworks for the added features of pitch correction and harmony in addition to excellent reverb/delay. I'm sure the price (Rumour $500, Voiceworks $699) will drop on both of them after the holidays.

Rumour has been at that price as long as I've seen it around. Helicon doesn't go on sale much either. I have and use a Voice One. It doesn't get half the use of my Rumour. Pitch correction, unless applied for effect, has a definite "sound" to it. You are much better off retracking til you get it right. This has been my experience. A little pitch correctio is usually undetectable, but the farther the note is away from scale....well it can get pretty nasty
YMMV

the TC M300 knocks the pants off the budget lexicon stuff

Wharfedale Proverb is a very nice reverb. I had the chance to play with a demo and it was very good. I will say it was better than my M300 but not as good as my MPX550. So like other Wharfedale stuff its a very big bang for the buck

I've been selling them for $285.00 shipped and everyone loves them.
