Stand Up Comity
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you a rather sedate version of the Ramone's Sedated.

This was recorded in response to a Ramones Rumble.

Dude, you are the Quaalude of covers, the Ritalin of rumbles, the Seconal of sedentary songs, and Rufie of the Ramones...

The cats are sleeping, man.

Of course, they always do, so that may not be saying much. :)

Seriously, though, that was a fun take on the song; never thought I'd hear that angle...

Very much an original cover, APL. Quite the opposite of teh original. Makes it a blast to hear. :D

I love it APL!!!! Really enjoyed the geetar!!!! This all layed back and well........Sedated!!:D

Why not bump myself, since I had to find this thread anyway?

You're forgiven!

This is a great rendition of "I Wanna Be Sedated"!!!

APL,
I'm sure this is just how Joey felt in England in 1977 at 11.55pm with all the pubs, bars, cinemas, gigs & palaces shut for the night. Have you heard his "acoustic" version on In Their Own Words?
Two change I'd recommend: mouth trumpet instead of the bah bah ba bahs OR kazoo
& the bass is a little toppy so pull some high out.
OH Oh Oh Oh, & a count in - perhaps a Reagan voice over and I'll shut up now.
Cool rendition.
Cheers

I need one of those electric kazoos, or I could try out my MSH-2 on it.
