hi,
when i first got my computer it came with mcaffe security installed. a while back i uninstalled it and thought that was it...now i have been getting messages that "mcinfo.exe" is attempting to access the internet...i searched out this file and tried to get rid of it but i am being told by xp that it is protected. any advice on how to get rid of this?
note: i am not very computer literate

ps-the messages i am getting are from norton security which i have recently installed and which i can turn off when i am doing music stuff. i forgot to turn it off today and that's when it told me about mcinfo.exe
