In a phone conversation today with James Young of Sonic-Distribution (and with his blessing) I have some sE Electronics related news to share.
In very early 2007 there will be some new products rolling out including:
*A USB version of the SE2200A LDC badged as the USB2200A.
*A very well built USB ½ inch true condensor mic badged as the USB1A.
The important piece about these 2 mics is that they will each come with a proprietary chip and software set for voltage conditioning that will make them sound as clean as a studio mic using phantom power AND they will be the only mics on the market with this technology. James suggests that the USB1A will be BY FAR the best USB mic in the low bucks price range (around $199ish) and the only SDC good enough to use for Outside Broadcasting. Hello PODCAST USERS?
In the spring of 2007 will be released hypercardioid and omni and capsules for their top of the line SE3 small diaphragm condensor mic.
Also for 2007 will be the release of a Reflexion Filter for Instrumental Use.
