Hi,

I'm looking to add a small diaphragm condenser to my collection for recording acoustic guitars.
My budget is £125 and after doing some looking around my shortlist is :-

MXL v67n - £125
Sontronics STC-1 - £115 (including free capsules worth £80)
Avantone CK1 - £114
Golden Age FC4 - £69

Does anyone on here have any experiences with these mics?

How does the Golden Age FC4 compare to the others?

Hi,
I am a reseller of golden age products.
A client of me did some tests. so you can see for yourself what kind off sound you can get. but keep in mind the different parameters; placement, acoustics, and hardware,... all this makes a sound. and most important budget/quality. In this test you can see it against oktava or even Brauner. So you can have an honest view on what te Gap's are. Without me doing some promotalk.
But yeah, they are realy worth the money ;)

its in dutch, but you can see the files
