Screeching?

Hi,
So when I'm using my microphone fore recording it works perfectly fine, until I open a game. When I open any games it records a screeching noise. Please help, I don't understand why it's doing this.

I'm not sure I understand why...unless you are recording voice-over stuff for walk-throughs or something similar. If this is the case, is there separate computer available to do the recording? Otherwise, I think it would be very demanding on the CPU to run recording software and games simultaneously on the same machine. Do you have audio of the screeching?
 
Is it feedback? Do you have speakers on that get activated when the game starts, but are not working when you are recording?
 
Hi guys, I sorted the issue, it was a mix of recording audio on the same computer on a different program and using a Yellow and red to 3.5 mm audio cable adaptor.
