Koa body died with dark brown stain, flamed Koa top, cream binding, tung oil finish.

Flamed maple neck, Pao Ferro fretboard, stained with my custom "vintage" tung oil stain.

Original Floyd Rose (not the licensed aftermarket replacement)

Seymour Duncan Custom 5 with split coil on a push pull 500k pot.

There you have it! and it only took me 2 1/2 years to build it. I figure if I can get like 20k for it I would make minimum wage.

I have to redo the control cavity cover. I bought another trem cover to cut up so the materials will be the same.

Looks _really_ nice. How's it sound? And how's that Koa, weight-wise?

What's the deal with the neck? It looks like it's hanging out about 1/8" from the pocket.

Sorry should have said. I like the way you haven't tried too put too much into this build. Sweet.

After reading your comment I had to go check. It's just the camera angle causing an optical illusion.

Cool I'm glad that was the case. It is a fine looking neck. Did you build the neck from a blank or purchase it?

The neck was rough cut when I got it so not quite a blank but no where near finished either.
