Hey y'all,

I just reviewed this guitar for Guitar Edge magazine, and I've posted some clips I recorded earlier today if you'd like to check them out, dig, leave feedback, comments, etc.

Thanks :)

Can't do much from the office with a Soundclip link, but I will say Schecter continually impresses me for bang for buck. I used to own a Hellraiser C7 in black cherry, which was a gorgeous instrument. I sold it and replaced it with a visually-less-stunning-but-still-awesome C7 Blackjack because I didn't really get on with the EMGs (they need more gain than I like, for rhythm tones), which I still keep lying around the house for rhythm guitar tracks.

They're pretty well built, and while I'm sure they're cutting corners on wood and pots and whatnot, the fretwork is exceptional for the price bracket and they ship with quality pickups, so right out of the box you get a great playing, great sounding guitar. I've played a few C1s that I'd take over PRSs - a better guitar, but not a $2000 better guitar.
