A couple of years ago I downloaded a 8 track recorder called " Internet Tape Dec ". Looks real cool, just like a 8 track hardware.
at first it gave me an error that I did not have a full duplex sound card. I could select the track inputs and it gave me a bunch of options and all had a choice of left or right. I armed tracks 1&2 and recorded my drum machine in stereo.
Of course I could go no further, cause without full duplex, I could not play back and record other tracks at the same time.
I then bought a creative labs SB512PCI soundcard, but now when I select the input for the tracks it nolonger gives me a left or right option for the source(Line in, Wav....ect). It will only let me arm 1 track at a time also.
I just want to arm tracks 1&2 as Line in L&R to record my drum machine in stereo. The rest of the tracks I would do one at a time.
Anyone ever use this program ? Huh ? Help ? Duhhhhhh.
