SB Live Reverb Mapping

Does anyone know why I can map chorus to MIDI tracks but it wont let me map reverb to a MIDI track?

can you provide more details? don't know if i can help.....i've only been using the sb live as a midi input .....but i'm curious
 
well, i beleive that you can map reverb and chorus that comes on the sb live via the use of MIDI controllers...i can map chorus. but id have more uses for reverb...hmm..im trying to give more details.

for example chorus is mapped through controller 93. reverb. i dunno! mabye im really dumb and i cant see the problem....:-)

if these are effects supported by DSP hardware on the card, i'd think that either effect would have the same options for midi control as the other.....i'm not sure if the soundblaster has midi effects, but there are plug in midi effects available....you can use a midi echo on a midi track which operates on the midi info, not the audio....i'm sure that there is a midi chorus effect too.....i don't think a midi reverb would work....however, i'm not sure that this applies to the SB....are the chorus and reverb both audio effects,,,,,,they work on the audio not the midi?
