saving streaming real audio

Say, I was wondering if there was a way to record a REAL AUDIO file while the player is streaming it...
it would be very handy to be able to just save it and then play it later at my leisure without having to be on line all the time,

That way if I wanted to figure out guitar or piano chords I could just go back infinitely without having to be on line.

Is it possible to download the .ra file isntead of just playing it?

Try this...
Disconect the speakers from your computer and get the appropriate (stereo) cable to hook it up to a cassette player, cd burner, DAT, or your multitrack recorder.
Granted, it will lose a bit of sound quality, but you'll be able to play it anytime you want.

thanks so far - -
but I guess I was thinking more of recording it or saving the real audio file to my hard drive instead of just letting it stream while connected to the internet.

It'd be nice to save it as an mp3 file or a wav file that I could play anytime instead of simply going through Real Audio.

Any new ideas?
