I have this Yamaha Spyder CRW-70 for a week. It's bundled with Nero. I used NeroMix to convert regular CD files to mp3s. I have this crazy idea I should be able to just write the new mp3s to a CD-R (using Nero BurningRom), but it doesn't work for unknown reasons. It just says I don't have a CD-R in the drive, but I do, I swear. I tried 3 brands of CD-R. I'm missing a trick here. Any clues?

Thanks. Neil

Does it say that when you have the same blank in the drive and try to burn a disk from .wav files?

I haven't tried to burn .wav files to disk, so I can't answer that. I'll try it though and get back to you.

Have u got ordinary Nero? If so just see if the same happens in this. Have u upgraded to latest version of Neromix? Some CD burners only work with latest version.
