Here's the thing,

When I started I had no idea and cubase was saving all my audios to the one folder. Later I found out that this was not good. I now have one song in that folder that I want and the rest is crap. I want to move these audios (the good ones) to another folder so I can back it up. (the whole folder is way too big to put on disk.) When I look in the folder there is hundreds of audio 1. audio 2 etc and no way of knowing which are the ones I want. When I delete unused audio in the cubase song it doesn't delete the crap ones( I guess because they are from different songs) Can I choose to copy the audios to a differnt folder when the song is open, or is there any other way to achieve my goal.

Open the song you want to save, and click on "save to new folder". It will save your song and the tracks you are using to a new folder. If however you have done punch ins, those tracks technically are still a part of your song.

Punch in... i.e. You record a vocal track and there is a mistake on it. So you play it back and at the correct time hit record, re-sing the part, and then hit record again. You have now done a "punch-in" or an "overdub". This can be done over and over as many times as you want. However, if you have not deleted those takes that you did not want, then they are still a part of your project and taking up space.
