Hey all:
I have a mix due on Tuesday, and my client requested I use a specific sound from the SampleTank library. Picked it up today, installed it, and I'm having two serious problems:
1 - When using any of the piano sounds, if I hit 2 different keys on my MIDI controller at exactly the same time, only the highest note sounds. I'm certain SampleTank is set in poly mode, and I've got two other DXi instruments installed (Edirol Sound Canvas and Vapor) and they do not have the same problem.
2 - 1 out of every 8 notes or so sound off as if I've got the sustain pedal pressed down.
Man, I'm going nuts with this and any suggestions would be extremely appreciated. btw, I'm running it under Sonar 2.2XL on a P4 2.8 GHz w/1 GB of ram.
Thanks everyone,
Dino
