Hey, I can hear you snickering... Well, scoff if you must, but the Santa Cruz was in my budget, plus computer recording is a recently-adopted hobbie (soon to be addiction I think) of mine. Anyway, I'm wondering if there are any other chumps like me out there with this card, or some of the more fortunate who may have had one "back in the day" that might be able to help me out.
My frequency output level meters on the EQ tab only seem to get readings (light up) when I have an effect selected for the input source. If I have all effects muted (which is how I want it to be, since I want to have a clean sound to which I can apply Cakewalk effects later), the output meters don't register anything. I've made sure that the Enable button is lit/on. I can hear/record the sound just fine, and my Cakewalk meters show readings. I also don't have a general output level meter on the Main tab in the Record Settings area, which I have seen in some screen shots and in the Santa Cruz tutorial.
Anybody seen this before or have any ideas?
Thanks!!
-Jeff
