so hey does anyone here own one for bass? my brother just got me the 3-channel programmable one for my bday today (wooooo!) and it's pretty cool....it's just too bad i've kinda been neglecting bass for months now ever since i got the JCM2000...all 3 of my basses are in baaad need of a setup and string change (i think my schecter model-t is going on 3 years, jazz and L2000 are on 2 :( ) so yeah i'm going to have to really sit down with this and program it....so does anybody have any suggestions or cool settings they'd like to share? i've got a gallien krueger backline 600 head and a sunn 4x15 cab as my rig, and i'm looking to get some warm fat tubeyness for my basses!

if you are using a Pa system for sound reinforcement that little Sansamp will be all you need to bring to the gig besides your bass, a guitar cord and a XLR cable. it is also excellent for recording purposes.
absolutley the best Bass DI you can buy period.

So many factors, like the instrument, amp, whether or not you're using it through the PA at the same time or independently. Few, if any, suggestions are going to be worth bothering with. I had the sans guitar version for a while, and it was very easy to dial in sounds.

more a case of just messing with it so that you know how it really works....when the penny drops then its easy to get close to the sound in your head.

hmm sounds good. im going to just play around with her a lot....besides, i need new bass strings anyway first lol. and i'm somewhat regretting my main rig to be a 300 watt head through a 4x15 cab lol...wish i had a lil 4x10'er
