Sansa e250 Voice recorder

How is the voice recording on the sansa e250? I am thinking about getting it to record college lectures. It looks like a good player but I wanted to make sure it has good recording because that is what I am mainly interested in.

I suspect not many people know much about the recording ability of the Sansa since it's primarily an MP3 player. However, the lack of a visible microphone leads me to suspect it's more of a close up dictaphone rather than something that'll pick up okay even at a distance.

If you want it just a recorder you might want to look at the ZOOM H1. It's a good recorder in a similar price range to the Sansa...but it's not really an MP3 player.
