My old beater Yamaha has sand in it from playing at the beach when I lived in Florida. I've shaken this thing more times than I can count but could never get it all out. How in the hell do I get those last 10 grains of sand out that mach me every time I pick this guitar up?

I've seen little gooseneck precision vacuums someplace....not sure whether it'd be cost effective, though.

I don't see how you got sand inside your guitar... But take an air compressor (or canned air) and blow as much as you can out. If you can't get it all, strip it down and blow blow blow!

Hee ..... that's cause you don't live in Florida. I moved here in March and all my gear has sand in it plus the connectors all are turning green from the salt in the air. You really can't escape it ..... it gets everywhere and inside everything no matter how careful you are.

But the compressor idea sounds like a winner to me ...... blow that crap out of there.

If you used canned compressed air, be careful not to get the propellant on the wood - it could mess with your finish...
