SAMSON Q8 (is there anyone use)

I want to buy Samson Q8 but noone give an idea. It is expensive than shure sm58 (or nearly same) Is there anyone to use? I need advice

IMHO it looks like the q8 is more for live use.
and for being better than a 58 I'm not to sure about that!

i need more advices, i use it for live for minimum feedback and more gain (i m in a 80's/hard-rock cover band)

Strange, I have the samson Q5. A 5 channel headphone preamp.

The Q8 looks like a dynamic mic and quite an expensive one at that. The frequency response range doesn't look all that impressive either. SM57 / SM58 / i5 / lots of other cheaper and better options IMO. Unless you have a specific need for super cardiod in a dynamic.
