Samson C01U (usb condensor mic)?

I'd invest on a PreAmp and an actual non-usb condenser mic, the C01U itself picks up noise coming from INSIDE the computer because it's usb powered. So You'd have to Noise Reduce when your editing ur vocals, or w/e you're using it for.

No, the C01U picks up noise from the computer because it is crap. Probably 95% of all the audio interfaces out there are powered by the computer, but most don't pick up tons of garbage off the power lines....

Besides, most of that noise isn't from the computer. It's self noise from the mic itself.
