Samson C01U and SX3 Latency.

Hello all, i recently purchased the Samson C01U and i am experiencing problems with latency, i am running the ASIO multimedia driver and my latency reads. ..

Total Input Latency: 145.000 ms
Total Output Latency: 1129 000 ms

is there any methods or advice for reducing this latency or do i have to use a specific driver?, i have the Sampson ASIO driver but im not sure what it is for as i can play sound back with this driver.

Firstly, I must ask if you have read the SX3 manual? Its got a good section on setting up the latency in the devices section.

I have just looked through the manual and could not find anything to help me set my latency settings.

It will be in there, honest.
You'll want to be lowering some of your buffer sizes - go as low as you can go before you get instability (pops, clicks, crackles, etc) just to see what your setup can handle, then back up a bit to a more stable setting .
Flick to the back of the book and check the index for buffers, etc.

I get no latency @ Buffer Size: 512, only slight latency @ 600 but the track still crackles.

I think im nearly there though
