For as much as you get and as cool of a DAW as the real version of samplitude is, it is actually pretty cheap.

Sorry Jay. I have read that several times and I still don't know what you mean exactly?

Dave.

I just googled it and found this, Samplitude Pro-X Silver.

Miditech English > Samplitude > Audio Production > MAGIX Pro

I am obliged Strryder.
I had not seen that one but then there are SO many 3rd party Samplitude "free" downloads and cracks that I ten only to use stuff from the MAGIX site.

But I took a punt and 'tis gut ya! Looks a bit like my old copy of Sam SE8 and runs 8 stereo tracks where I am sure the old Silver would only run 4?

I am not sure yet if it is a give away? I shall know after 7 days! It also give you the option of downloading some sounds and synths, notably Independence Free. (BTW, they would not load via my wireless link into laptop but did so fine when I found it some copper.)

Odd that Ralf at MAGIX did not mention this? ( sorry! Mike Caine must have told me a million times not to name drop or exaggerate!).

Odd to me that, AFAIK, no hardware comes bundled with a Samplitude cut? This would be fine.

Dave.

Sorry, I thought Silver was one of the cheap/free versions. I'll bet if I looked at my samplitude box, it would be the one shown in your link.
