samplitude Pro. 7.0

i have the samplitude Pro 7.0 computer recording program.
I'm running my guitar through my BOSS GT-6 guitar effect processor to the line in jack of my computer I have a "Realtek AC97 audio Sound card
but cant seem to get it to work please help.

AC97 is an integrated soundcard which is not meant for recording. Even if you record you will be wasting all your time producing crappy sounds, Better go for a decent card and start your project.

Did you follow the instructions in the manual step by step? What exactly doesn't work? Can you select the sound card in Samp? The forum on the Samplitude site is probably the best way to get quick answers for this type of problem. Since you are, of course, using a legit copy you should be able to register.
