samplitude 7.o low volume

Hi, I'm using sapmlitude 7.0. My playback volume is really low to the point that what Im recording is drowning out my bed tracks. I've checked the master volume and the windows mixer volume. I'm out of ideas. I'm using a sounsblaster audigy2.
Any help would be apreciated.

Just to verify, is this is the only program experiencing the volume deficency (maybe try playing an mp3 in some other program to test)?

Is the main buss metering ok in Samp? If it is, then check that the output assignment is correct, and check the Audigy mixer applet for good level coming from Samp to the Audigy, and that it's routed correctly.
