I couldn't find a forum more suiting to the legal matters of music than this one. But if this post fits better elsewhere, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it was moved.
My question is, what are the specifics to usage of samples from movies in music. Say if I sampled some sounds from a movie in my music, and I sold CDs. Would I just simply cite where I took the samples from? Or is there more too it than this.
