Okay, here's a nice thread that'll help out people like me. Hopefully there are a lot.
I hear a lot on this board about common mistakes and then someone says 'oh, just boost the *#@&*^@ along with the 138VZ blah blah' and I have no idea what people are talking about. I know that if I was there I could tell what was happening.
What I'd think would be a good idea, is for all of you seasoned veterans to make some recordings of some of the most common mistakes made while recording/mixing (if you know how to get rid of them, you can do the opposite
) and post us a sample, let us know what's wrong, and why it usually happens, and then tell us the easy way to fix it and post a sample of the same thing with the problem fixed.
