I've been a long time Cakewalk user but I've decided to give Cubase LE a go (it came free with my Firepod) to try and resolve difficulties I've had trying to get the VST plugins on my UAD card working properly.

When I go to Project Setup to set the sample rate to 48Hz, it gives an error and says "This may be due to the sampleclock being set to external sync", and sets it back to 44.

In the Device Setup, VSTMultitrack, the Clock Source is set to 'Computer' (there's no other option).

The Firepod control panel is set to 48KHz. Is there any way to set a 48KHz samplerate in Cubase LE?

Make sure the Firepod's sync sourse is set to something like "internal". Also, sometimes I find I need to chang the sample rate to something else and back in my Aardvark Q10 panel, then launch Cubase. That usually takes care of it.

Well whadya know, that actually worked. Thanks man.

Now, while you're hot any ideas why I would get "An error occurred during the export!" when I try to export??

The only thing I can think of right now is... make sure the left and right locators are set correctly, if they are reversed, you'll get an error message. Also in the export mixdown dialog box, make sure to select the correct output from the drop down menu.
