I'm looking for something to help organise a growing collection of samples (WAV format) - primarily to allow searching by BPM, category or keyword and audition (single time and looped). Has anyone used anything that has proven useful and manageable (ie, not too much manual set-up) in this area?

Thanks.

SampleCatalog.
You can catagorize with multiple parameters (Including custom ones). Allows flexible searching/filtering, auditioning, drag and drop, and direct launching of an external editor (i.e. Wavelab). It is fairly simple to use (Although you can get really deep into it too). It has been an absolute godsend for me. Best part of all it's FREE. http://www.geocities.com/samplecatalog/ Oh, and it supports all file formats too (Not just audio).
