Sample CD

I didnt know where to start this thread so I picked the Keyboard one. But anyway, I have been putting together a sample cd, all 16bit 44.1k stereo samples in wav format. Using my Roland Juno and all my softsynths. Also in the samples are loop points. They are edited perfectly.
Is this worth trying to sell once its complete? And where can I start?

I've seen several of this type of sale on eBay. That may be a great place to sell it. You could sell it as either a Dutch Auction (where you have multiple items) or as individual auctions. It should go for a few bucks, perhaps going up to $10- 15 if you've done an extensive sampling of the keyboard. Worra of Worra's Prophet sold Gigasampler instruments of his Prophet (which I bought) for $30, but these are actual instruments as opposed to wave files. If you could put these samples in a common sampler format (like Akai) you would be able to get even more money for it like minimum $10 bucks, up to $30 perhaps. As long as you have CD burner, you're good to go.

I'd suggest putting the samples in an instrument format. Either way, you should be able to sell it on eBay.

Akai samples use a proprietary format that Akai has. I think that there are some programs on the net that enables you to make Akai CDs, unfortunately I don't have any. I think there's one called Telodisk or something like that. Do a yahoo search for Akai.

As far Gigasampler, if you have the Gigasampler program you can turn your wave samples into an instrument with a little work.
