Hi everyone. I tried to understand the whole thing called "sampling". If I have Yamaha PSR-3000 keyboard and some awesome VSTi on my PC and I want to be able to play some of the VSTi sounds on my keyboard (not to be plugged to the PC but also when I take my keyboard to anywhere else). Can I do it somehow? Can my PSR-3000 take samples of VSTi and save them like it was one of his built-in sounds? If so, please tell me how, that will help me a lot.
Thanks!!

When using it as a midi controller (tethered to a PC or other device) you have access to whatever your software / hardware can do. But it appears that it's onboard abilities are not as robust. And most of it's storage seems to be for songs, not sounds.

Not that I know for sure. I just googled it. And my midi experience is quite limited, only owning a keystation 49e and having used some ensoniq back in college in 1980 something... Late 80's, but still.

Thanks a lot bro. I'll try this and let you know the results...
