Anybody have an email address for sam ash besides the sales@samash.com ?

I'm getting dicked over with my Pilot bass order. Every time I call they say its shipping today. So I told a gal today what's been going on, and she said she has no idea why it hasn't shipped. It's sitting in the warehouse, and my credit card has yet to be processed. She said she's going to put paperwork in with customer service for me or some shit, but I'd like to email or call somebody direct...

Anybody have a name/address?

The sales@samash.com email address is useless. I've found that they typically don't respond at all, and if they do, it's not for several days.

no other emails anywhere else I can find.....and I printed everything.....

you might wanna get the name of the person you talk (ed) to and mention their name in the email...a tried and true cheesy way to perhaps make somebody take your email more seriously....or use the fax number SA has displayed everywhere...although, a fax will probably end up in the same department that is ignoring yer emails.....

damn, I feel lucky...no probs other than the back order on the guit....the bass is great..............but I might be in your shoes if the ax doesn't arrive in a reasonable time...........gibs

Demand to speek to someone else; politely of course. The numbers you get to all these places lead to nowhere (or no one should I say). You either get someone who sounds like they started that day (your case most likley), a machine or no answer.

Always get someone's name and if they can't help you you should always ask to be transfered to someone who can.

I can't find any other e-mail address either.

Below is their internal customer service email address; I worked with a guy named Wil who is in charge of their guitars. I wasn't overly impressed with their operation; I ordered on a Tuesday, and here it is Thursday of next week and still no guitar. I think it's on the back of a fedex truck somewhere in PA. Oh well - 12 months same as cash and no sales tax - can't expect to have all that AND good service too.

a guy was talking about some probs with samash, and found a very helpful dude named Howard on the phone extension 2252.......might be worth a try..........don't know what hours he works, though............gibs

Thanks to all. I made a few calls and wrote a few emails. I will say that of about 5 calls I never once had to hold! However, email turnaround is 2 days, and one of my messages was never replied to.

Anyhow, there was some mistake on their part, and the bass should be here this coming week.

Thanks again!

Howard Abrahams is on my big red murder list right now for failing to get me a price he assured me THREE TIMES I would definitely, positively get as a condition of the sale.

Naturally, I called today to check the status of the order and it was shipped at the higher price.

I'm calling him in the morning to get in his face about this and we'll see what we shall see.

Never forget that these people are pure boiler-room commission hacks, not your buddies.

OK, Howard made it good. Didn't have much of a leg to stand on so he didn't try.

I've bought three guitars from SamAsh.Com in the past three months and have had trouble of some kind with EVERY purchase.

So far I've had 2 really good experiences with the deArmond thing....the M-68 arrived and It's beautiful and plays great...and I've already mentioned how much I like the bass I got....I thought the strings on the bass were ok, but I got new ones for the guitar...but that's the only tweaking I've done.....the tunomatic style bridge on the M-68 was set up very well and the 2K pickups sound super, and the tone is sweet.....but deArmond has ugly-ass knobs on their guitars....the bass knobs are cool....

funny, but I ordered the M-68 after the M-66 I ordered and it's here.....

The M-66 is on back order, as is the M-72 (so sue me, it's the closest thing to an LP I'll ever own, and I didn't like the epi wannabees at all, and the playability and finish of the M-68 has only re-enforced that view....) I assume the M-72 is a Korean one, being slightly more expensive, but the Indonesian Pilot Plus and the Indonesian M-68 I've received are nothing to cry about......very pleased, I am......

so, 2 down and 2 to go...we'll see if the other two get here in intact and hopefully as wonderful as the first two....

I still thank bongolation for letting me know about these things........gibs
