Hi all! Now that I got my pc fixed (damn junk motherboard, I'll be able to completely setup my pc and recording equipment. Will I have any trouble if I have my power amp or speaker wires that runs my monitors close to my pc? If I need to be careful about the proximity of these, how far away should I have them? Thanx!!

I wouldn't worry about the speaker wires. The poweramp on the otherhand is not something I would put right on top of the PC. Usually a large transformer inside, I'd be concerned about possible damage to hard drive data. Maybe a bit paranoid, but that's my take. What distances do you have to work with? With the poweramp a foot away I think you'd be fine. You may even be fine with it right on top of the box, but why take the chance.

Cool. I should be ok, then. As of right now, my amp is about 4 feet away from my pc. I just got my pc fixed, and never could figure out what initially started the problem. I just didn't want the problem to end up being 'I had my amp too close to my pc', and have the same thing happen all over again!
