My brother mixes techno and I borrowed a cd from him that doesnt have any trcks on it. My question is how do I split up the song into seperate trax so I can burn the only the ones I like? I have a CDRW and Adaptec's EZCD. Do I need better software?

Doesn't have any tracks? what is it live?

The only way I can think of doing it, if there really are no track markers, would be to record the whole thing into your computer. Edit using a decent editor and burn the result(s).

That's what I would suggest too. The only problem I could see with that method is that some audio editors may not be able to open such large files (depending on the length of the cd of course.)

no sound editor

Yea its a live nonstop mix of techno. I believe around 70 minutes long. Ive already saved in to my hard drive. I have the Adaptec easy CD 4.0 that came with it. I was reading help and it says select the track you want to edit then click track on the menu and select sound editor. The only problem is there is no sound editor.
