The documentation for the UAD-1 Plate 140 has a section titled "Hidden Controls." The hidden controls are not present in the normal GUI. They can only be viewed or modified in automation or "controls" mode.
Some host apps support hidden controls mode and some don't. I haven't been able to figure out if Sonar4 does. Anyone have experience with this?
