What's up people? This is my first post since signing up. I've been surfing for a while on this site and got shit loads of information. Could someone please give some expert advice on recording (mostly vocals) through s/pdif to my audiphile 24/96 card to Sonar 2.2XL. I currently have a MK319 mic, dxb 286A pre-amp/processor, and a M-audio Duo which I would like to use as my A/D converter. If I do indeed get a better recording using s/pdif, then is it practical to use the s/pdif output from the m-audio duo to the soundcard or use my Roland 1680 s/pdif out. If the analog input to the audiophile 24/96 is the answer, then are you saying that the A/D converter in this soundcard is better than the converter in the M-audio Duo? A detailed explanation would be much appreciated!
