Suck 'em and see!
I know it's gotta be 75ohm digital coaxial cable. I've got some that came with a digital camera. The thing is it's about 5 meters long. Would that be too long for a twin Delta soundcard link?

I priced some yesterday and for a 1 meter run it was the same price as an 8 way XLR to balanced Jack 3M loom.

Is the length a problem?

Alec.

PS it's a 1010 and a 410 I'm linking. The 410 will only be used for playback, not recording. I seem to remember reading someplace that I would only need to lock the cards via S/PDIF for recording but not playback....can anyone confirm this?

Any decent 75 ohm VIDEO grade cable works very well. It doesn't have to have "digital" in the name. 15' is a little long.

Yeah I thought it might be a bit long.

Anyone know about this no need to sync the cards for playback stuff?

Anytime you connect two digital devices, something ALWAYS has to be master as far as clock goes. Whatever is transmitting is the masterclock source and the recieving device is the slave. The Master always puts it in the slave.:D
