Any suggestions?

I am trying hard to get the guitars and bass to fit well with the drums. To me, the drums are real crisp and I want to achieve that same sort of sound with the guitars & bass without interfering with the other frequencies. I've been experimenting with cutting out frequency instead of piling them on. So each instrument has room to breathe and shine through.

its on right now:

I think the the guitars need to be louder, or just EQ'ud up a notch,

the drums came out solid, try to isolate the bass drum to get more "punch" for those double bass rolls, the cymbals need to come out more a little too.

the guitar riffs are tough, pull off some of the bass on these to let the drums through more, there was alot more low end noise taken up dbs on the mix,

so yeah the song is great, Each instrument was recorded clean, just put the highs up for the cymbals maybe adding a pinch of reverb, ease off the lows and boost the mids for the guitars, and isolate the bass drum....

Hot sh*t bro, check out my thread if u get a chance...

P.S. keep me posted, I cant wait for the vocals....

Well, I actually I totally isolated the kick drum with a gate. I can try and add maybe a little bit more mids to them to make the beater sound more present.

As far as the guitars, about what Hz should I role off the low end on the guitars.

How should I eq the bass. I think it's really shitty sounding.

I can see where I need to accent the cymbals more and add a lil verb.
