Routing Compressor and Reverb on Mixdown

Need some help here on mixdown routing. I have an Alesis Studio 24 board that has Effects Loop (Aux Send) and Main Inserts. How would you correctly route the compressor and reverb for best results? Right now I have the compressor on the Main Insert and the Reverb on the Aux Send returning to a (stereo line in) channel.....

For a more natural reverb effect, you have it set right, as you'd want to compress before you add the verb.

For a more "effected" or artificial sound, you'd be better off putting the verb before the compressor.
