The recording quality sounds good. The mix on the kit is strange to hear. The bass sound is not my fave. But it can work.."Yes" did it.
The guitar playing is kinda primitive......BUT it's INVENTIVE!!! I like it.
Have you ever heard of guitarist Johnny A.?? Check out his records. It's real similar to what your going at.

i'd give the bass more low end. when that distorted guitar came in that kinda killed it for me. it came out of nowhere and wasn't creative. it just played some generic riff and left. and then the one note of distorted guitar with feedback at the end kind of left me with the same reaction. and i'm a fan of distortion and feedback, but it just doesn't fit the song and doesn't add anything to it.
overall though i liked the mix, just boost the low frequencies in the bass and in my personal musical opinion do something else with that distortion.
