Hello,
I am setting up my project studio in a 12x12 room with a 7ft by 2ft closet in it.
My question is has any one ever setup there closet with a desk and done mixing in it?
What kind of treatment would I need to do to it? I has a to small elcoves in it at both ends SHould I add bass traps as they seem like a good place for bass to build.

Here is a Picture of the closet:

Thanks for your advice. :D

My opinion is that it is too small a space to do anything usefull with. My Suggestion: Hang clothes in it (or hang covered panels of 703 if you have no clothes) and then use the doors to control how live the main room is.

hey Innovations, Thanks for the help.
I figured it would be a bit usless, I guess thats why I am going to be building a real studio soon.
Thanks again.

I second that emotion. It's just right for storing things. Maybe you could call it a closet. :D

Yeah I guess closet is a good name for it, better than the name I gave it "dead body storage room"..........

I am gonna give it a try anyway(with your well taken advice in mind), the reason being The over all room size is only 10x10 and I have to track and mix in this room.
I am basicly just setting the desk in it and sitting in the room.

heres a new pic.

thanks again.
